About Google Applications

The following article applies to Global Delivery Network project types.

Google Maps

If your website includes Google Maps, ensure that your Google API key is established for the base domain; for example, "example.com", and is not limited to “www”, as in www.example.com.

If you created a key for “www”, you can request a new key from Google for the entire domain, including any subdomains.

For more information, please see:

http://code.google.com/apis/maps/faq.html#keysystem

Google Optimizer

If you use Google Optimizer for A/B testing on your website, the standard Google Optimizer insertion code includes a </noscript> tag without an opening <noscript>. This appears as an unbalanced, not-well-formed HTML page.

To solve this problem, add an additional <noscript> in front of the closing </noscript>, as seen below:

<script>utmx_section('Header')</script>

Default Content

<noscript></noscript>

Google Analytics

You can use Google Analytics to track your domain and language subdomains or subdirectories by including some customized tracking code in order to correctly track visitors. The tracking code depends on your scenario.
