Account Owners and Project Managers can keep track of all Source and Translation Issues in the Issues reports section of the Smartling account. There are three types of Issues reports available in the dashboard:
- Source Issues Report
- Translation Issues Report
- Issues Details
Account Owners and Project Managers can request the desired data for the date range of your preference.
Please follow the below steps to access the Issue Reports:
Go to the Reports tab in the top menu and select Issues
Select your desired report
Source Issues and Translation Issues
The Source Issues report displays data for all open Source Issues in the selected date range. You can request this data across multiple projects.
Please note there are two types of Source Issues in Smartling:

- Review Translation
- Doesn't Fit Space
- Placeholder Issue
- Poor Translation
Select Create Report and Download CSV for offline reference
Issues Details Report
The Issues Details report contains data for all Issues - opened and closed, source and translation with full comment information in a selected date range.
This data can only be obtained by downloading the information via CSV in Smartling. You can access this in the Issues Details tab and selecting Download Detailed Issues Data.
The following fields are included in the report download:
- Project id
- Project name
- String hashcode
- String original
- Issue uid
- Issue state
- Issue open date
- Issue close date
- Issue reporter/commenter uid
- Issue reporter/commenter name
- Issue reporter/commenter email
- Issue type
- Text date
- Text (is the original description or a comment added for the Issue)
The information displayed in the report download will provide you with full detail of all Issues with description and comments in the order they were entered. This data will help prevent similar roadblocks in the future.
